Dr. Ali has served in the field of education since 2014 beginning in K-12 as a Substitute Teacher for Santa Rosa County District Schools. After a year of experience at East Milton Elementary School, Rhodes Elementary School, King Middle School, Hobbs Middle School, and Milton High School, Dr. Ali took a leave of absence to welcome her daughter into the world. In 2016 she began working as a Paraprofessional at Bennett Russell Elementary School and enrolled her one-year-old daughter into daycare – her experiences here are what led to the initial development of Bright Futures Early Learning Center.

In 2017 Dr. Ali earned a direct commission into the United States Air Force Reserve as a Health Services Administrator. It was in 2017 that she also transitioned from K-12 Education to Higher Education – working part time online as an Adjunct Instructor for Bryant and Stratton College. In 2018 Dr. Ali began working as an Academic Advisor for the TeacherReady program – guiding the future teachers of the nation to certification.

After completing her Doctorate degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management, Dr. Ali accepted the position of Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of West Florida where she now prepares the next generation of healthcare leaders.

As an advocate for education, Dr. Ali is dedicated to the educational advancement of the youth in the Santa Rosa, Escambia, and neighboring communities. She is a current member of the East Milton Elementary School Advisory Council (previously Chairperson for the 2022-2023 school year). She also has served on the Santa Rosa County district level Parent Advisory Council, spent significant time volunteering at O.J. Semmes Elementary School, and previously served as the Executive Director for the Central Gulf Coast CDF Freedom School.

She is a graduate of Leadership Pensacola (2020), a Community Partner for Baptist Health Care’s Patient and Family Advisory Council, and previously served on the Board of Directors for WSRE-PBS.

Dr. Ali was identified by InWeekly Magazine as a Rising Star in 2022 and is recognized in the 76th edition of Marquis Who's Who in America.
