Hello, I’m William Ketty

Cathy Lawson

Cathy Lawson has served in the field of education for more than 20 years. She has obtained a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, certifications from the Florida Department of Education in Educational Leadership, Elementary Education, and Exceptional Student Education, as well as endorsements in English for Speakers of Other Languages, and Reading. During Ms. Lawson’s journey through K-12 education she has served in a multitude of positions. These positions have ranged from Substitute Teacher, to Classroom Teacher, to Academic and Reading Interventionist, to Assistant Principal.

Cathy Lawson relocated back to her hometown of Milton, FL in 2008 and has been employed with Santa Rosa County District Schools ever since. During the duration of her employment, she has been asked by school administrators to lead grade levels, and frequently asked to move to different grade levels to improve grade level test scores. That alone is a testament of her teaching effectiveness. She has dedicated her career to the children that she serves and while she typically works for the district’s summer school program to help reduce summer learning loss, she also makes time in her personal schedule to hold tutoring sessions after school, per parent request. Cathy Lawson is a professional who has been proven to be effective, with undeniable ambition, a superior work ethic, and a heart for the children and families she encounters.
